This small stoneware lidded pitcher is not marked but likely hails from the St. Uze region of France (near Lyon) – it crossed my path at a market north of Paris.
It has crazing in the glaze that has turned dark brown on one side. There is also a crack on that side but I’ve tested it and the pitcher is still watertight, making it perfect to hold a small bouquet to brighten up your kitchen. The rest of the pitcher is in great shape, no chips in either lid or pitcher.
