This set of six old Sheffield knives are made by W. H. Humphrey’s & Co. in England. They’re still in great condition and ready for many more years of serving at the dinner table.
The blades are nice and shiny without tarnish (have not cleaned them, as found). The handles are made of creamy celluloid that appears a bit dried out in spots but could be conditioned with a polish. They have scratches consistent with years of use and the bottoms have a few chips (see photo) but nothing that detracts from their charm or functionality.
