I absolutely adore these old Grey Poupon mustard pots from France! The graphics are so pretty and look great displayed on a shelf with other ironstone.
This jar is overall in good shape but does have a small chip on the front at the base and series of scuffs and flea bites (see photos).
Based on the rounded lip on the neck and the fact that there is no banner promoting the win at the 1889 or 1900 World’s Fair (like most other Grey Poupon mustard pots), this pot likely dates back to before the 1889.
SIZE: 3.75″ tall x 2.5″ diameter at base
Bears the Sarreguemines mark on the bottom.
