This old candy tin from France has it all: charming graphics (including a fleur de lis!), pretty gilded typography and patina galore. Plus it’s a pretty faded pink color!
It’s a nice size, small enough to tuck into a display or shelf but large enough to notice. The lid slips on and off easily so you can use it store bits ‘n’ bobs, adding funtionality to its many lovely traits.
The lid reads “Confiserie Lilloise” and “P’tits Quinquins” (a type of fruity candy still made today; as a matter of fact, the tin design hasn’t changed much, although this is one here is a true oldie, not a modern-day version)
