I was first drawn to the tiny little label on this old hardcover note book. I didn’t connect the meaning of “Scheik.” on the label until I leafed through some of the hand-written pages and discovered it was all in Dutch. Despite having flunked out of chemistry in high school, I spotted some formulas that made me realize “Scheik.” was short for “Scheikunde” or chemistry in Dutch.
Most of the pages are filled with fountain pen script writing with a few formulas mixed in as well as a few blank lined pages. The note book is in great condition, still solidly bound with just some staining due to age and storage on the fly pages. The edges of the cover are a bit scuffed, especially on the back, but it would make a lovely addition to a book shelf in the study or use it for your next altered book project.
