My heart skipped a beat when I unpacked this gravy boat from my latest package that arrived from Europe! It's heavy white ironstone with a lovely blue transferware pattern with a few tiny daisies and a pretty curved geometric pattern. It has a few flea bites and dark spots due to use and age. There are also two small chips on the rim, one of which appears to have been painted white many moons ago (see photos), and a tiny chip underneath the saucer (barely visible). It's still fully functional with a clean basin. Would be lovely to use as originally intended or fill it with cotton balls in the bathroom, paper clips in your office or use as a catch-all in the kitchen. Marked with a gorgeous St. Amand logo on the bottom, pattern is called Manon With blind mark and "Terre de Fer" mark SIZE: 9.25" long x 6.125" wide x 3.375" tall FREE SHIPPING within the US. This transferware pattern is so sweet with its pretty blue border and interspersed flowers. It's faïence from France and marked Céranord St. Amand with the swan logo. This listing is for all four (4) plates. Overall the set is in great shape for its age with just one plate that's a little more faded blue than the others and one that has some faint marks from knives cutting on the surface. So pretty to mix in with plain white ironstone or dinnerware! Still fully functional (as with all old dishes, hand-washing is highly recommended).
