Denmark pattern dish
This sweet side dish in the ever popular Copenhagen pattern has the most marvelous browning and crazing. It's actually not made by Royal Copenhagen but by the English company Furnivals Limited and the pattern is called Denmark.
A number of different companies created their own version of this pattern since it was so popular (it extends to enamelware as well). I did a bit of online research and based on the mark, I'm fairly confident that this one dates to 1890-1910.
The side dish has a few hairline cracks and, as mentioned before, some staining but still a lovely piece with many years of use left!

side dish (France)
This pretty diamond shaped dish came from France and has a geometric green pattern around the border interspersed with oval wreaths.
It has no chips or cracks but does have some crazing and slight staining with age (see photos). It is a bit wobbly when placed on a flat surface. The bottom has the swan logo by French maker St. Amand and a number mark.
Great as coin catcher near the front door, jewelry keeper next to your bed or stacked with ironstone in your kitchen hutch.

old knife silver & celluloid
I love the pretty details on the blade and ferule of this knife! It could use a polishing but I love silver patina so I chose to leave it as found.
The handle is made of creamy yellow celluloid with a subtle stripe (also called French ivory).
There are silver hallmarks on both the blade and ferule but I've not had much luck in researching them. Because of the other knives I found at the same vendor, I believe it's likely from England. Regardless of its provenance, it's a lovely piece that would make a great letter opener.

initialed silver plate (Germany)
Old silver plate cutlery is so beautiful – even more so when it has a monogram or initial like these beautiful pieces!
Found in Holland, this flatware is marked J. A. Henckels Zwillingswerk on the knife blades and has a small mark on the back of each of the spoons and forks. All have the letter "F" engraved on the bottom of the handle in an Art Nouveau style font. That, along with the style of twin logo, makes me think these likely date back to the early 1900s (while the company has been in business since the early 1700s, their website shows this particular twin logo as being used from 1900 to 1969).
Sadly, these seven are the only pieces I found, so they make one complete setting of knife, large fork, little fork, large spoon and little spoon, with an additional knife and large spoon. I personally like to mix my silver plate pieces since it's so hard to find complete sets.
These are in good shape with some tarnishing on the knife blades and small scratches consistent with normal use.

porcelain or ironstone tray
I found this lovely little tray at an antique market in Delft, the Netherlands. I think it was the pretty scrolled handles that first caught my eye. I love the subtle curved edge and solid hand feel.
I believe it's porcelain since it's whiter than most of my ironstone pieces here at home but I could be wrong. Regardless, it plays beautifully with ironstone and would be perfect to use as a butter dish or small serving dish.

mini gravy boat no. 1 (Holland)
This ironstone sauce or gravy boat is such a cute little size!
Found in Holland, it comes with porcelain little spoon that is likely not original (probably a mustard spoon that lost its pot).
The sauce boat itself is in great condition, no chips, cracks or other flaws. The little spoon has some browned chips along the rim (see photo).
Beautiful little piece to add to your kitchen shelves or dining room hutch.

mini gravy boat no. 2 (Holland)
I was so happy to find another little gravy boat during my last trip to Europe!
Found in Holland, this diminutive ironstone bowl was originally used for sauce but could be used for marmalade, nuts & nibbles, or even bits & bobs in the office or bathroom. It is in great condition, no chips, cracks or other flaws.

Boch Meissen side dish
These pretty side dishes were found at a market in Belgium. Both are marked Boch, one with the pattern Meissen noted, too.
These dishes are still in great condition with no chips or cracks, just minor staining and crazing (see photos). The color is a classic blue and white – in some of the photos they may more cream or off-white but it is a true white with blue.
They're sold individually so please make your selection based on the photos for A (some slight stains) or B (some crazing in center) in the drop down menu.

sauce tureen (no. 1, England)
Everything is cuter when it's in miniature and this tureen is no exception! Much smaller than its larger soup or vegetable counterparts, this tureen was intended for sauce and comes complete with lid, saucer, and hard-to-find ladle!
It boasts a lovely floral pattern of daisies, blue bells and decorative leaves, all in a slate blue color.
The pieces are in great condition with no chips or cracks. The only blemishes are some brown spots on the inside of the bowl, back of ladle and inside rim of lid (see photos) and some crazing in the saucer (which I personally adore). Truly a great piece to display in your dining room hutch or kitchen cupboard.

transferware side dish (Belgium)
If you like browned and tea stained dishes, you'll love this old transferware side dish! Originally blue and white, it has now aged to a gorgeous speckled cream and brown color.
The piece has a beautiful pattern of leaves and scrolls and was found in Belgium. A nice surprise, it has two little birds on it, too! (see photo)
Based on other pieces I've had in stock, it's likely made by Boch, although it's not marked as such (just two tiny blind marks on the bottom that appear to be the letter J and a star – see photo).
No cracks and just a tiny chip under the rim at one of the handles, very hard to see. Some of the glaze appears a bit raised, not sure whether that's a manufacturing defect or something that happened later. I would not recommend using it for food but it would make a lovely coin or jewelry tray.

mustard pot (France)
The popular blue and white pattern of this mustard pot is often called Royal Copenhagen but this pot is marked Digoin & Sarreguemines and is made in France. The floral line and dot design is often referred to as Saks or Saxony and extends to enamelware as well.
This pot came to me straight from France and originally may have had a lid. It has a few small cracks along the rim and some small chips along the base (see photos). Could use a good soak to clean the dirt inside (was likely used as a little bud vase at some point).
